With two young children, owners Deena and Pete Moffatt were looking
for a way to help fund their kid's college education. With this in mind,
Harris Creek Trading Company was founded in 1996. Our first
showroom opened at the West Mercantile in September of that year,
featuring both slot machines and pachinko (Japanese pinball)
machines. The business grew rapidly with the addition of our "Magical
Music Clock" line. In addition to our clocks, we now offer antique
reproduction furniture, glassware, porcelain figurines, music boxes,
artwork and many other unique and interesting items. We are
constantly in contact with manufacturers and artists from around the
world searching for unique and special items. We currently have two
showrooms, one at the Old Czech Corner in West and one at the
Hillsboro Antique Mall in Hillsboro.
Our daughter began her college career in the fall of 2007 and our son
begins in 2010, so we hope you will visit us soon, we need your business
now more than ever!
